Back acne also known as Back acne or body acne usually appears on the back, upper arms and the buttocks in the form of pimples, blackheads, pustules and cysts. Exfoliation should be used regularly to prevent back acne and to get rid of dead skin cells that appear and gather on the back, buttocks and back of the arms. Sugar scrub should also be used in the shower on a weekly basis.
Use an over-the-counter product containing benzoyl peroxide once or twice a day. It helps break up the plug of dead skin cells, bacteria, and oil that clogs the pore and forms an acne blemish. And it cuts down on the bacteria, too. Start with the lowest concentration, and work your way up.
Wash properly once or twice a day, using a mild soap, and rub lightly with your fingertips and warm water. If your skin is oily, use a soap with benzoyl peroxide for its drying properties.
Topical antibiotic drug of medication for body acne such as erythromycin, clindamycin, Stiemycin or tetracycline can kill the bacteria that block folicles on your skin. Combination of oral antibiotic drug drugs with tetracycline or tetrscycline can struggle acne effectively. However, topical medication is not really the perfect solution to body acnes as some skin might acquire irritated by topical medicaments.
Backpacks must not be used when you are being treated for back acne. They tend to rub on the skin, and make the skin become worse as it will cause irritation. This kind of skin contact must be avoided till the acne in the back subsides. The skin on the back will vary from the skin on the face, and the skin can probably be comfortable with the medication. To be on the safe side, it is always better to use the medicine on some areas in the back, where you have been affected, till the other areas are tended to.
